Ben Rosenthal, MT-BC, is an accomplished professional serving as the Assistant Director of Music & Music Vocation. Ben graduated from Westfield State University in 2013, earning a degree in Music under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Karen LaVoie. Committed to advancing his expertise, he further pursued a degree in Music Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Wood's College.
In addition to his role as our Assistant Director of Music & Music Vocation, Ben excels as our Music Booking Manager, meticulously curating performance opportunities for our vocational music and dance ensembles. Furthermore, he assumes the crucial responsibility of supervising our music therapy internship and practicum program as the Music Therapy Internship Supervisor. Demonstrating versatility, Ben provides private lessons, conducts impactful music therapy sessions, and co-leads our Music and Human Services seminar.
Ben's expertise extends beyond his immediate responsibilities. He also serves as a visiting lecturer of music therapy at Westfield State University, overseeing a section of Clinical Music Therapy Practicum and Internship in Music Therapy courses. His dedication to education and mentorship further contributes to the growth and development of aspiring music therapists.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Ben embraces personal interests that enhance his creativity and passion. In his leisure time, he enjoys engaging in video games, crafting intricate cosplays, immersing himself in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, and cherishing the companionship of his seven beloved pets.
